Where to Stay:

Royal Sonesta- 300 Bourbon St, New Orleans, LA 70130- Located in the heart of the French Quarter and on the World Famous Bourbon Street, the Royal Sonesta is the perfect stay for a bachelor group with bars and restaurants located literally right outside the lobby doors. 

Ace Hotel- 600 Carondelet St, New Orleans, LA 70130- This classic, modern property is located in the Arts District, just a short walk or Uber away from the hustle & bustle of the French Quarter and Bourbon Street. 

Hyatt Regency- 601 Loyola Ave, New Orleans, LA 70113- Located right next door to Champions Square, the Mercedes Benz Superdome and the Smoothie King Center, this hotel offers a convienient stay near New Orleans' most popular attractions. Just check out that amazing view, guys!

Where to Eat:

You can’t visit New Orleans without trying a juicy, savory po-boy, a classic New Orleans sandwich. Make sure to put Parkway Tavern on the top of your list when considering where to get the city’s staple sandwich. Get the “Surf and Turf” with sloppy, yet delicious roast beef and gravy and perfectly fried shrimp. Just make sure to thank us later, guys!

Located in the French Quarter near all of the hot clubs and bars, Felix’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar is the best spot to fuel up on food and drinks before heading out for a long night of drinking with your best buds. With local favorites like seafood gumbo, BBQ Shrimp, Crawfish Etouffee, fresh-off-the-boat oysters (the char-grilled are probably the closest thing to heaven) and bread pudding, you won’t regret the full belly you’ll have when you leave.

With plenty of BBQ restaurants in the city, you really can’t go wrong with any of them, but our personal favorite is The Joint. Here, the ribs fall off the bone, the sausage will knock your socks off, and the peanut butter cream pie will have you coming back for more the next day. This is a perfect quick, but tasty, lunch spot before heading out to take on the city for the day.

For a true NOLA experience, Port of Call is a must! Don’t let the small restaurant fool you, they make killer burgers and even better drinks. Due to the size and popularity, there will likely be a wait, so grab a few Monsoons and catch a buzz while you wait. Be careful, those things sure do sneak up on ya!

Where to Drink:

Rooftop bars have become a hot commodity in New Orleans over the past few years, but the Hot Tin, located on the roof of the famous Pontchartrain Hotel, is our favorite! Here, you can experience the most incredible view of downtown New Orleans from the Central Business District all the way to the Crescent City Connection.

Let your inner child loose at Barcadia with ‘80s style games such as Pac-Man, Skeeball, life-size Jenga and connect four, and air hockey. The only difference now, is you’re able to drink while you play!

Of course, no trip to NOLA is complete without visiting Bourbon Street. The 13-block world-famous Street is home to several popular bars, so you really can’t go wrong. Specifically, Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop is a loud and interesting bar that is the oldest structure in the US to house a bar. Don’t leave without trying their famous “purple drank.”

Only a few blocks away from the neon lights and cover music of Bourbon Street is a music lovers paradise where the locals hang out. Frenchmen Street has live shows for just about every musical genre you can think of.  From the funky tunes from the surrounding clubs to the entertaining street performers, Frenchmen will not disappoint!

What to Do:

Take a break from the French Quarter and hang with the real swamp people on a high-speed Airboat Tour in the swamplands of Louisiana. This company operates on their private, family owned land which means you’ll get up close and personal with the animals that call the Swamp “home.” Trust us, this will be the highlight of your trip and have everyone back home wishing they were here!

New Orleans may have been a little late to the craft beer party, but that doesn’t mean you and your crew have to! The NOLA Brew Bus takes you on a ride through the city to some of the most popular craft breweries in the city. You’ll have a major beer belly when it’s over, but it’ll be worth it!

Channel your inner Ricky Bobby at NOLA Motorsports Park where you can race some of the world’s fastest and most luxurious supercars or challenge your bros to a good old-fashioned go-kart race.

If you and your crew are sports lovers and you find yourself in New Orleans from August-May, you probably won’t have a hard time scoring some tickets to a game. Being in the Mercedes Benz Superdome or just in New Orleans on a Saints game day is truly a one of a kind experience.

The Smoothie King Center, where the Pelicans play, is full of energy, excitement, and entertainment when the Pelicans are in town.
