Damon Batiste and family will preview an upcoming musical performance series aboard the Paddlewheeler Creole Queen on a romantic dinner cruise on Valentine’s Day. Batiste Father & Sons of the New Millennium will incorporate bands from the talented Batiste family on this river cruise which sets sail from the Spanish Plaza this Tuesday evening.

This annual cruise is New Orleans’ premier Valentine’s Day event providing an open bar, a lavish reception-style dinner menu, and of course an unbeatable selection of live entertainment. Couples are encouraged to dress to impress and show off their love under the night sky.

This event, presented by and New Orleans Paddlewheels, inc., and produced by Damon J. Batiste and Hollywood South, LLC., is one of the first in a partnership to promote their upcoming performance series. “We’re very excited to join the City of New Orleans in celebrating 300 years of culture and music,” said Digital Marketing Director Lydia Mulero. “These musical cruises will showcase some of the legendary and talented musicians, such as the Batiste Family, who have been stewed like a gumbo in the rich history of this city.” Regular performances will begin March 4th and are set to run through New Orleans’ Tricentennial year of 2018.
